The grass is always greener...

Recently, I've been looking at the WordPress blogging system again. It looks nicer and cooler. Ever since Blogger introduced there "advanced" beta program, it's been sporadic (albeit mostly better now). If I didn't have approximately a gazillion blog archives, I would probably make the switch pronto, but...anyway.
Anyone do Wordpress and recommend it? I actually set up a test blog a while ago here. Oh well, if I make the switch, I'll be sure to let you my faithful BBB reader know. Rest assure, BBB will continue to provide top-notch, cutting-edge, timely & relevant....um something or other.

So anyway, I'm sent these cool pictures of Ben and Kari. One of ...uh... Ben and Kari, and the other one of Kari sitting in front of this hope chest. For some weird reason, I couldn't transfer the pictures onto my blog.
So just visualize everybody.

On an unrelated note, we had an awesome service this last Sunday night! God's presence was as they say, "all over the place". Praise God!

Jen's sister Kari was proposed to by her boyfriend Ben Orvis. (See picture below)

She said yes.

The wedding is tentatively planned for next summer.

It was such a dumb idea

Of all of the foolish, crazy things people have ever tried, this one takes the cake.

I mean, come on!, you don't take a crucified Jew, and proclaim Him to be
the founder of some new religious sect. Obviously, when you're up
against the mighty Roman army, an idea like this would never work. Of
all the hare-brained schemes, this one has not merit whatsoever. No
way, this could have even a hope of making an impact.

But it did.

The only way an idea like this could ever work is if that crucified Jew actually DID rise again.

Update: I'm so glad to see that this new-look blog is getting glowing reviews. Yes, it is the new "Amish look". It's all the rage - with the cool people, at least. So if you don't like this look, it means you're not cool. Plain and simple.

Grandma and Janessa

Grandma, Ezra, and Esther have been up this week! (Ezra was the one who cruelly hacked into my blog)

Well folks, my brother got into my computer and shamelessly hacked into my blogger account. It's just the kind of brothers I have.

Oh that Ezra is awesome!

Ezra is just about the greatest brother I could ever wish for! I don't know what I would ever do without him. Yes, I know that I sometimes tease and provoke him to no end with my VERY limited amount of knowledge I have in my tank with computers. It really isn't my fault though! - I was just born this way. Anyways, you all are probably wondering why I'm typing this but I just want you all to know that my brother is so awesome and that I really didn't mean to cause him so much pain these past few months by knocking out his Internet connection and on an on. I just don't know what I'm doing sometimes. Ah, I guess I'm just a natural born klutz :(

Bro. Stetler plays guitar

Not only is Bro. Stetler a great preacher, he also plays guitar. This past week, he taught me a chord or two. I've been learning to play my acoustic-electric for the last while or so, but it's a slow process. I am, however making progress. I played for last week's nursing home service. OK, not exactly an auspicious start, but hey, it's pretty hard to go wrong there.
